G13+ was founded in 2020 by carbon market veteran Ben Atkinson. Ben was a co-founder of the carbon market pioneer Agrinergy, which developed and registered over 70 emissions reduction projects from 2003 on. He was a member of the UNFCCC CDM Small Scale Working Group from 2015 to 2017, and he has also successfully developed several CDM methodologies.
Chelsea joined G13+ in 2024 as a graduate, holding a BSc in Geography from Royal Holloway, and MSc degree in Global Management of Natural Resources from the University College London. From both degrees, she immersed herself with research on environmental and resources management, especially in the energy sector. In her role as a Carbon Analyst at G13+, she assists in the calculations of carbon footprints and building wider corporate climate strategies, guiding toward a Net Zero future.
Payal is a sustainability professional with a strong blend of academic excellence and practical expertise in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, climate strategy, and sustainability. She holds dual master’s degrees—a Master of Commerce and a Master’s in Sustainability—providing her with a unique combination of business acumen and sustainability expertise.
As a Senior Associate at G13+, Payal supports organizations in measuring, managing, and reducing their environmental impact. Her work includes greenhouse gas inventory development, emissions quantification, carbon footprint assessments, sustainability reporting, and ensuring alignment with internationally recognized standards and frameworks. She contributes to the delivery of robust, transparent, and standards-compliant GHG inventories, enabling organizations to strengthen their sustainability performance and advance their decarbonization objectives.
Prior to transitioning into the sustainability sector, Payal built a strong analytical foundation as a Data Analyst, developing expertise in data management, analysis, reporting, and process optimization. This analytical background enables her to approach GHG accounting with precision, combining technical rigor with practical problem-solving to help organizations achieve their sustainability and decarbonization goals.
An joined G13+ in 2024 as the Sales and Business Development Associate. She earned a BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut and MSc in Sustainability from Brunel University London. In her role as the Sales and BD Associate, An marries her passion for sustainability along with her background in marketing and sales to oversees all marketing, sales, and business development activities within the company.
